Advanced Compliance Course in Medical Transcription is offered by ROSe

Major changes are coming to the medical transcription Business Associates with the enactment of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act. ROSe recognizes the urgent need to have detailed information available to assist in preparing those who work in compliance roles within medical transcription businesses or have a special interest in compliance for Business Associates. For this reason, a new Advanced Compliance Course in Medical Transcription will be launched on October, 2009.
This 4-course class is designed for the student to better understand the specific requirements and obligations of the medical transcription Business Associates, and how to perform important tasks related to compliance. Please note that the Introductory Compliance Course in Medical Transcription offered by ROSe is a prerequisite for this advanced course.

If you are enrolled and miss a class, you will be able to review a recording of the entire class session at your convenience. After you have completed the 4 classes and successfully passed its final exam, you will receive a certification of completion from ROSe. Also, this course has been awarded 4 medicolegal hours of continuing education credits by the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity.
